    It says up to 8-cylinders and the 4Runner 4.0 isn't especially sizable of an engine so I reckon it will.

    I have a small 1500 amp jump box, my wife's AMG ,V8, battery was completely dead, I hooked it up,hit boost and it fired immediately. Yours is more than enough.

    Yes, Have used that exact same one for a family member that had a GMC with a V8 and it started right up.
