New to the forum. Bought my first 4Runner. 2017 SR5.
I want to do a lift mod and was wondering what suggestions you guys had for a newbie. Want it to look real tough, but not over the top. Wheel size and Tire size would be appreciated as well. Don't want to cut away a ton of plastic and rub.
    Thanks.

I have hunting lease. Get a bit rough on the back end. It's a daily driver as well. No extreme off roading. Cool looks as well.

If you go up in tire size at all you risk rubbing. I had minor rubbing in reverse with 275's on the stock Trail rims on my '16 even after lifting it 1.75".

It really depends on how much money you want to spend. Bilstein 5100, Dobinsons, OME just to name a few. If you got money to spend than there's Fox, Kings Icons just to name a few. I'm getting ready to buy the Dobinsons for my 2011 4Runner.

Toytec Ultimate lift, SSO Slimline bumper and 10,000# winch, emblem blackout, hood scoop wrap.
I have a ToyTec Ultimate at 2.5" and 650# front springs for the winch. This should fit the bill for your described use. About 1,350 + instillation. Mine did not need upper control arms to align.
