Hope aftermarket skids have enough air flow after you remove the factory air duct.

Agreed. There is a gap there now so I was hoping the air would swirl down and under. I'm assuming it's fine because many people on the forums have aftermarket skids and you don't hear about overheating all the time so fingers crossed

A bit difficult to see in this pic, but there's a small gap between my bumper and skids, plus obviously openings in the front of the engine skid to allow air flow. So far I've had no issues at all.

Unlike other trims 4Runner Limited have low hanging bumper almost below the vent holes of the engine skid. So there is air duct work taking air from the lower grill (the opening between the bumper and black color piece).

Finally got rid of all the chrome ! At least as much as I am willing to do.
It was unnecessarily time consuming, expensive and cumbersome.
Door handles, Side Steps, chrome trim front, rear and sides, roof rails and end covers , wheel caps, rims, tail lights, tailgate piece, front grill, signs and logos, fog lights brackets etc etc etc.

I used the black vinyl lug nut covers for mine. The actual black lug nuts were on back order and they’re expensive.
