Driving the '23 SR5P to work then have the afternoon off and my Scan Gauge2 is to be delivered and might install!

 

Playing with go fast stickers. I need to find a shop that can match the font and satin black wrap i put on the hood.

 

picked up my old junkers from the shop.
spc sending me my warranty replacement set

 

Fingers crossed mine don't end up like that, but if they do I hope it happens within the next 2 years of my labor warranty as well on my lift.

 

You got SPC’s?? Purchase date?
I just received some new information from manufacture and my shop, that I’d like to pass on to folks.

 

Not sure the actual manufacture date, but installed March of last year. Any details you have are appreciated, thanks.

 

I saw my first Gen-Six 4runner today. Unfortunately, it was on the side of the road with its hazards on. Looked like it had a flat tire. I would have stopped to help and take a look at it but I was late to pick up my daughter from school.

 

Nah, Bob's cool with a little friendly ribbing.

 

They will get to test out that sweet new temporary spare tire.

 

Have the afternoon off......Scangauge2 showed up via UPS.......installed in the cubby hole in front of the shifter and routed the wire left and under the bottom panel and zip-tied the excess cable up out of the way. Transmission Temp gauge working with the first code I tried. Would post up pics but my flip phone doesn't take too good of pics!

 

^^^ Never knew I had the need for a scan gauge until threads like this. I will have to look further into it for sure.

 

Didn't think I'd use one either.....now installed provides alot of useful info!

I am a copy cat. I like them , the wife doesn't, therefore I am keeping them.

 

Changed the rear brake pads today. I guess one of the pads seized and wore down faster than the rest. I changed out the original pads at nearly 80K. These have slightly over 45K

I have a co-worker like you. Last month he grew a goat-tee, just to annoy his wife. Then he walked by my office a few days later and he was clean shaven. I asked "Hey man, what happened?" He replied "Well the hair that I grew to annoy my wife, she started to really like it. So I shaved it to piss her off. I couldn't let her win."

You married people crack me up.

 

No pics, but got some wire clean up started (and mostly completed) before getting Auxbeam control panel installed next week. Also got my OEPanel put in. Very easy to get it switch over. Had to trim a small bit where the mirror control panel sits, but other than that, no issues. All the buttons being gone now feels weird.
