Hey all, I'm installing Morimoto XB EVO Hybrids on a 2020 4R. If I use the INJ fuse slot as recommended, the fusebox cover will not close because that row of fuses is raised. The other 10A circuits are either controlled by the headlight switch or are constant power. Has anyone else run into this?

Welcome. Correct. I notched out part of the edge. They make solutions you can buy.

I notched my lid, not the box for my install. Since I have a 19, the Minwin riser is not an option but here is working on them for the earlier models. I'll get it and a new lid so it's a cleaner install. Personally I would get the riser to make it clean.

I'm not sure why Toyota changed their fuse box design, but safest and cleanest bet would be to just run it into the cabin fuse box for OP. I don't do water crossings or drive fast through puddles, so I'm not super concerned about moisture

The Morimoto harness has a grommet already on it so it isn't so open to the elements. They even include a harness to run it into the cab with a firewall grommet on it as well but I needed it for the passenger side DRL wiring because the harness wasn't long enough.
