Has anyone found a cup holder insert for smaller water bottles?

The one it came with is too small to fit my Owala and removing the insert makes it too big that the bottle flips/flops around everywhere. So I have to use a folded up paper towel to keep it in place.

Or does anyone know a 3d printer person that can make one.

Check Etsy. Lots of them. Contact a seller and ask about custom sizes.

If I can scan it or take dimensions I can print something up out of flexible TPU. :)

I haven't printed with that yet. Got some learning to do!

I work in R&D for a TPU manufacturer. It's a great material with so many great uses. Cheers!

I like my owala though. They’re colorful, has an actual lid to cover the part where your mouth touches, has a handle, skinny enough that they fit in my work bag, and they don’t spill when tipped over

My yetis and Stanleys are now collecting dust in the cupboard.

I have been using Thermos water bottles for years. Like your Owala, they don't spill and have a lid over the mouth piece. The coffee cup has a lid that opens and closes with a button, and doesn't leak, either. I appreciate good drinkware! :D

My work vehicle is a Chevy Silverado, and it has useless little baby cup holders. I don't understand why they do this. I can fit a soda can, or one of those ridiculous buckets of soda from a fast food joint. But, my water bottle has to ride in the passenger seat.

I thought it was funny how much of a fuss people made when Yeti started making vacuum insulated products, when Thermos has been doing so since 1904.

I can print and ship you one specifically for your Owala. I made one for my front cup holder but it works in the rear cup holder as well. TPU, PETG, or ASA. This one is TPU. PM me if interested

So is that thinner than the stock rubber insert that comes with the truck?

Mine are thicker than the stock rubber insert because I added a boot to Owalas. They’re the silicone bottom inserts to protect them from being scratched

Doesn't that insert lift up with the mug each time?

Nope. Took two prints to get the tolerances right but it’s just loose enough to not grip the bottle when you lift the bottle up

I have the same issue with my favorite water bottle, what worked for me is the factory cup holder insert removed, and I have a neoprene coffee cup sleeve that fits on the bottom of my bottle. It fits tight enough that it doesn't move around and make noise. My girlfriend got it for me, from a seller on Etsy.
