Coastal Offroad DIY kit rear bumper owner, Do you like them?

Met a local guy who has a Coastal Off Road DIY(built) full height rear bumper w/tire swing out, for sale pretty cheap. I don't have any experience with that brand, so I don't know much about them. What is everyones thoughts on them?

 

Value will largely depend on the quality of the welds.

 

If you have the skills, own a mig welder, and have ambition, this is the way to go. I lack the skills and the mig. I do have a stick welder and can make 2 pieces of metal stick together, but highly doubt how well I could assemble one of these bumper kits.

 

What is the price they are looking to get?

 

Surprisingly, they are not much cheaper than if you buy a fully assembled one. They start at about 50% cost and go up from there when you add accessories. If you have the shop, welder, and skills, its for sure a smart move. For me, I think Ill pay the $500-800 extra to have it done for me.

Got that in regards to buying and assembling a bumper..
