Wow, I wish I would have seen all this myself. I ordered a gear plate for my sliding tray around the end of December. No one is responding. I guess I might start a charge back. I don't ha e IG either. I called 4x, left messages. Emailed and will email one more time today I guess.....Zero response.

 

Better do it ASAP. Scott is a scammer and a con artist. Make sure to leave them a 1 star review and get your money back before it’s too late. He fucked me over many times.

 

Might be worth a shot getting an IG account. They've posted a couple times over the last week or so...

I arrived to Carlsbad yesterday which isn't far from AJC. Scott responded to an email I sent letting him know I was in town and he said he would finish the plate up for me. I am in a car heading back to Carlsbad now with my plate in the rear. He said he refunded my shipping and I should see it within 5 days max.
He apologized for the wait and showed me his shop.
I won't defend the guy as I am not sure how many are out there waiting, but he does have a lot going on for a one man show.
He said he was shipping 5 out today.
I am fortunate enough to have a job that allows me to travel and get lucky enough from time to time to resolve situations like this. I live in FL so shipping was like $150. Hopefully I will see it back in my account soon.

 

Funny, I was near his shop on my last visit to California but I had flown in and rented a Jeep.
I thought about dropping by but it was only 2 months since placing the order.

It is now 10 months later and I just got a reply from him. He stated it will be shipped this week.

Any word on the build quality of the gear plate you received?

 

Quality appears fine, I just installed it last night. Took 5 minutes. I haven’t mounted anything yet, so I can’t comment too much on it. Still smells a bit, so it was just made.
I can grab a pic later if you want. The research and pre drilled holes are definitely worth the $, so as long as it holds up of course. not 100% flat now with seats down, but everything is a compromise I guess.

Sounds like they are in the wrong business. I really don't understand how businesses find it ok to take people's money and expect the customer to work on "their" own time schedule because of their own personal drama.

Just got a shipping notification from AJC. Finally!

 

Can you take a pic with the tables slid out? What is the quality of the two tables? When you said it's not 100% flat now with seats down, I thought the gear plate plus riser with slide out tables raised it a few inches so it would be flat with the back seats down?

 

I only have the plate that fits over the sliding gear tray. No table or anything of the sort. Just the tray. I got it for mostly for a quick means to mount a fridge and the various point for some for of scuba tank storage. Not sure how I will do that yet lol. I do not have the complete system. I can extend it with a pic or get better pics in a couple weeks. I am out of the country until the 17th right now.

Order received and installed. Build quality is solid.

Lots of back and forth with AJC over the last 9 months but at least I got the product I ordered.
