This isn’t my picture, but the same exact lights. They are very much a soft yellow. I couldn’t be happier with them.

Can you actually use those as fogs without affecting oncoming drivers?

I've had mine for over 2 yrs and never been flashed. I use the white lights though and 2 different lenses, driving/spot combo or wide cornering. Aim them correctly and it shouldn't be a problem.

Where did do you end up buying them from, if you don’t mind me asking? They look really nice, where they cut to fit already, or did you have to trim them?

I have only had them on for two days now, and I was on shift at the fire department last night. So only one night of driving with them. I purchased LED upgrades for my headlights, so those will be what I mainly use. I’m going to try and reserve the fog lights for bad weather, or dark roads. But that being said, the first night I drove with them, nobody flashed me at all. I did also buy the clear lenses, which is one of the reasons I went with Baja Designs. If I get flashed too bad with the yellow, I can change out to the clear lens.

My son-in-law picked them out for me... I believe he purchased them off of the "Etsy" web site. They don't come pre-trimmed so I did have to do some trimming to fit. Pretty easy tho... just make sure to spray the entire area down (even area outside of window) to make sure to be able to move the decal into place... as well as spray the decal itself so it doesn't accidentally stick to itself... and then squeegee away.!

Not really what I did to my 4runner, but I did create a new BG for my Note 9. I'm not sure if I like it with or without the lit edge. The resolution look crappy on here for some reason, but looks fantastic on the phone in hi res, as I created it.

I almost stuck a Pornhub icon on there for the LoLz

I got mine off Amazon Skull Daddy I believe. They were not cut to fit, I had a auto detail shop put on mine.

I have the diffused lens on the sports in my fogs and I do get flashed. I quit using them with oncoming traffic which is OK with me. I am also upgrading my low beams to 5000k HIDs so the need for fogs will only be when it is foggy.

    For the 4runner..

I got a little further with proof of concept for my off-road trailer. I bought this thing second hand for $100.

    So far...
    • Welded new perches onto the axle so that I could mount it under the springs instead of on top of them. Instant 4" lift.
    • Extended the axle 4" on each side to accommodate the wheels that I have in mind.
    • Installed a spare set of mustang wheels and tires today that have the same backspacing and offset as the 17" wheels that I am going to use, along with 32" OR tires.
    • Next up, though I have reshaped the fenders, I am going to need to move them up 4 more inches to accommodate the taller tires I will be using. And widen them a bit more.
    • Then I am going to remove the mesh and plate the wagon with diamond plate.
    • As I'm doing that, I will clean everything up and prep for paint.
This has been a fun little project so far.

RSG Metalworks sliders on our 2019 SR5 Premium. https://rsgmetalworks.com/collections/5th-gen-4runner

Ordered in November when they were $100 off. Several choices for the 5Gen, we chose no rear kick out and no angle with the top plate. Picked them up Thursday at the RSG shop in Denver. Shop was busy, sparks flying in the back and stacks of finished products at the door ready to ship. I installed them on Friday. Luckily we came out of our holiday deep freeze and the garage warmed up. Very happy with the quality and ease of assembly. All the holes lined up perfectly with the 4Runner frame holes. Really like the low profile and the offset.

Next up is going to DMV to pay Colorado registration tax to get plates on it. Probably more than the cost of the sliders! :(

With all their past failures not only for us but across the board on all their product lines, I wouldn't run them if you gave them to me for free. Plenty of other options out there with much better reputations.

I've seen more issues with Total Chaos and Camburg, to be completely honest. Haven't had an issue with the Light Racing, had issues with Camburg's on my Tacoma.

I had a chance to test the newly installed Cooper Discoverer RTX tires in E load, factory size on my 2016 TEP. They were installed on January 1st, NTB was open. I was tired of the factory tires getting beat and punctured.
It rained hard here for a couple of days after they were installed so I took them out to test them on our wet, crappy roads.
This weekend I was able to test them on many different dry road surfaces. Lots of road construction here with many different textures. They soaked up the road and they were straight as an arrow and smooth at all speeds on the main roads on my way to the property. They ate up the mud easily on the road back my land where most vehicles with no clearance would easily get stuck.
They performed flawlessly in all areas. Now I need to wash the truck, its really muddy.
