Console Trim Covers

I am looking for the best way to replace the silver/gray trim on the console with matte black. Ideal state, there is a vendor out there that makes aftermarket, matte black replacement console trim. The only thing I can find is trim covers and while I know that works well for the badging on the exterior, I am concerned that the fit/finish won't be great on the console.

Has anyone tried the trim covers and what are your thoughts?

I have a matte black dash trim cover coming in the mail today. Noticed a small place where the "clear" is starting to peel on the factory silver one and figured the easiest option was to cover it. Will post some pics in this thread once I put it on if that's what you're talking about.

Go to the junk yard, pull one off a pro or off road for 3 dollars. Done.

 

I didn’t know TRD Pro’s had matte black trim!

 

It's not celebrated here, but I put on the 'carbon fiber' over the shifter/cup holder portion. Kills the reflection and looks good to me.
