I did a search but didn't find anything so I figured I would ask the collective group. Has anyone installed a Kicker Hideaway 10 inch sub (Kicker HS10) under their passenger seat? I have a 2021 ORP. Trying to make sure that their won't be any fitment issues. Thanks!

There are a few different subs that fit under the passengers seat, but
I use the JBL Bass Pro SL 2 and its likely as big as you are going to fit, there are a couple in this size range and mine gets skimmed by the under seat base cables. This is with cutting the plastic under-seat foot blower off even with the brace under the seat, and mounting the amp/sub directly to the carpet. The JBL Bass Pro 2 also hangs out to the rear floor mat, also the LED power light on the JBL is basically hanging out behind the seat and shines in rear passengers face. The Kicker is taller, and longer, so you would most likely need a few washers or spacer under the back legs of the seat.
    JBL Bass Pro SL 2 = 13 9/16" x 9 7/8" x 2 13/16"
    Kicker HS10 = 14 1/2" x 9 7/8" x 3 3/8"

    Alpine PWE-S8 = dimensions: 13.4"W x 9.062"D x 2.875"H
    Sound Ordinance B-8PTD = dimensions: 9-1/8"W x 13-5/8"D x 3-1/8"H
    Infinity BassLink SM 2 = dimensions: 13-9/16"W x 10-1/16"D x 2-7/8"H
    RetroSound SUB-8100 = dimensions: 10"W x 13-7/8"D x 3"H

There are a bunch to look at, here click this :

    Its BAD AZZ
I have one in every vehicle, the sound is excellent. Surprisingly the JBL powered sub under the passengers front seat sounds freaking amazing, the notes it hits and how it sounds is completely different than a standard sub you would typically hear in an SUV. A sub in the rear hatch area is going to load off the side wall or tailgate, as the sub "loads" the sound waves bend, which changes their sound quality. This makes subs sound like they hit harder in an SUV but it takes away from sound quality. This JBL sub under the passengers seat absolutely rocks and makes songs like GOAT and Playing God by Polyphia freaking sound unreal. The bass notes as the bass is being picked and thumbed come out of the JBL powered sub amazingly well, and being under the passengers seat makes the sound feel "around" you. It sounds like the passengers door has a mid bass driver in it, you can kinda tell the bass is coming from that direction but it fills the cab and sounds like its coming from all around you. The quality of the notes it hits is amazing and will leave you floored. The quality of the notes sound more like real life, you can really rock with it. I love them.

I picked up a Atoto 10" a while back to use will I put together a custom setup and it actually sounds great, its about 1/3rd cheaper than a kicker. So there's another option for you and they both fit

I checked mine last night, it has about another inch to the seat frame above it, the seat heater and Side airbag light wires are what are touching the sub/amp. This would mean that your taller kicker should fit without issue.

OK, I haven't installed the Kicker HS10 yet but did a quick fitment test. It will definitely fit under the passenger seat. I removed the air vent duct under the seat so that it sits flat on the floor. Here are some pictures of the fitment test. I wanted to show it oriented in two different directions. The shots from the back seat show it with no risers in the back and a 1/2 inch riser in the back. I am currently using seat jackers in the front but it should fit even without those installed.

You guys running these from oem headunit and speaker level inputs?

I want my 4R to sound a little better but I kinda like basic oem HU and don't want the expense of big 5 channel Amp running everything.

I had a shop install my system and I'm using the stock head unit. I also upgraded the speakers in the front (door/dash) to go along with the sub. I added a 4-channel amp for the fronts and a 6 Channel Active Line Output Converter (AudioControl LC7i). I trusted that they knew what they were doing given my limited knowledge of car audio. It sounds bad-ass. Enough bass to rattle the doors if I want (or my passengers butt) but nothing that will win any competitions. I ended up not needing/using the seat jackers and risers.
