Couple projects to get done over next few weeks (weather permitting)

1. New 38-inch light bar for roof rack. It's a cheapy model off Amazon.



2. Install Auxbeam 8 gang switch. This will prob be the longer one to do because of wire clean up under the hood.



3. To go with the Auxbeam switch, install the OE Panel with the built-in for the control panel.






4. Installing Baja Designs rear hitch lightpod. Looks pretty simple and straight forward.

 

Saw the new Landcruiser today up close. $67,000. If it didn't have a 4 banger turbo it would be
and awsome machine in my opinion. I felt very content looking at the new vehicle prices on the lot today
while I had the first oil change on my 2024 4Runner knowing how much I DID NOT spend on mine purchased

My 2016 SR5P has power seats driver & passenger

 

My 2011 SR5P has driver and Passenger power seats. So these 2024 better have them and some, irrespective of the trim level.

 

I had to put this in. Mine had a fake, non-functioning one.

I use all Adams (except Sprayaway for the glass) on my "Fancy cars" (Chevelle, Impala, TBucket & 55). I've been very happy with their products. My Chevelle is basically black and I can use the Adams detail spray in the parking lot without streaking to bad. At the shows etc, if you buy their stuff and don't like it they will give you more than your money back (110%). Pretty good company to work with in my experience.

 

All the SloRunners, except the Pro's and Limited's have fake ones. Nothing worse than playing with fake plastic ones, am I right!?

 

If you haven't already, clean/ lube your hood latch and those little rubber bumpers on the hood. Might be worth it to also lube the rear hatch. I had a sound I thought might be suspension and cleaned all those points and the sound went away.

 

Found this after lunch, another reminder that I wish I had just gone with Load E instead of SL.

 

E Loan will do nothing in this situation. A nail will go through Load E no problem.

 

Did the tire go flat as a result?

 

Not going to remove it until I'm at discount tire tomorrow morning, didn't have time this afternoon. If its flat/low in the morning I'll fire up the compressor and fill it, then take it to dt.

 

Not sure your situation. But to my eyes the nail doesn't seem all the way in and the nail seems small. If I was in this exact situation I would remove it and take the risk of using my spare tire worse case scenario.

 

Screws and nails and other sharp metal object don't care about how many plies are in your tires.

 

It wouldn't matter if you were an E cup or a triple G cup...a nail/screw/sharp object will penetrate it.

Pull it, plug it and role.

 

Or, since the screw is plugging a hole. Just cut the head off and run the tire till it's worn down.
Zero $$ invested.

Or, it could be just a 1/2" long screw and not in the plies.

I actually had black lag bolt straight into the tread of my tire once, and a nail in another tire, the heads broke off and they haven’t leaked not lying
