Hello. I don't post often as my truck has proven to be as reliable as advertised. My 4Runner is a stock Limited with 20 inch wheels, which as you know are limiting (pun intended?). I SO wish it had the 17 inch wheels. Anyhow, I have two sets of tires, one being Blizzaks for winter. I'm tired of popping off one set for summer and vice versa and want to just get a new set of wheels. All I really want is a set of good old painted steel wheels for winter. I'm old school and don't need anything fancy or that will set me back hundred's. My many searches have come up with nothing. I thought once I saw an offering through a Toyo parts catalog for an OEM version but can't locate. eBay offerings have me leery. So any help in locating these would be appreciated.

You can buy a nice set of OEM 17" alloy wheels on Facebook Marketplace for $300-400 so why in the world would you want to buy steel wheels?

You see I have two sets of 20 inch tires and need an additional set of wheels, nothing fancy for the winter set. Fortunately or unfortunately both sets of tires are in great shape or I'd just buy a set of 17 inch tires and wheels.

I think that over the long haul you would be $ ahead to sell the 20" snow tires and just go ahead and get 17" tires and wheels - depending on where you live this might be a good time of year to sell snow tires :)

Buy another set of Limited wheels on FB marketplace. They are cheap, durable and better than any aftermarket generic wheel you will find.

The 20 inch size is a bit of a pain. I've tossed around all the options. Just was hoping to find a basic set of steel 20 inch wheels.

I just looked on Tire Rack https://www.tirerack.com and while there are hundreds of alloy wheels for your Limited they don't show any 20" steel wheels so I think that you are out of luck finding any :(

I guess the availability depends where you live. If you are ready to upgrade to 17in wheels, around Denver CO 4runner wheels are available anyday. Including some 20in wheels.

    edit -
I don't this there's 20in steel wheels for 4Runner as 20in spare wheel is the same alloy wheel. I bet 20in steel wheel would be insanely heavy. Even the 20in alloy wheel is heavy to begin with. Why upgrading to a 17in wheel is a better choice.

Not much of a market for plain old steel 20 in I guess. Plenty of 17 inchers though. Oh well, so much for trying to save some bucks.
    Thanks for the replies.

Maybe see if any limited 4R's are in junk yards around?

I sourced my limited bumper from a junkyard on ebay. Flood damage totaled out the car and the junk yard was parting it out.

    What this guy said ^

There should be a glut of 20" OEM take offs on local marketplaces since they are commonly replaced

This is exactly what I did. Bonus - the ride is much nicer/softer with 17s.
