From the Car and Driver article:

Pour one out for the outgoing 4Runner’s 270-hp 4.0-liter V-6 and five-speed automatic transmission (or don’t; we won’t miss them).

In the reviews I've read and viewed so far, the new 4 cyl gas and hybrids seem to satisfy the reviewers and not many crying over losing the V6.

Looks like a decent pucker inducing height!

Where are all the 6 Gen haters that were waiting for the embargo to be lifted so they could read all the bad reviews?

Quote...The 2025 catches the 4Runner up on nearly two decades of advances in convenience, safety and driver assist features.
