    Greetings
New owner of 2024 4 runner pro.
Can anyone recommend a step attach for the rock crawler rails (tube type) With the higher lift my wife and I find ourselves in need of a step to get in comfortably. We realize the lower clearance is not ideal for off road but we want it for everyday driving.
Looking for something that can be attacked to the round rails. thanks rob

I am seeking a same type product for my nephew. My daughter has factory running boards on her stock height SR5 which work great for her family.
However, My stock height SR5 has factory rock rails/sliders which I do not use to enter or exit. I find the tucked under design to my liking for daily use. But they do not work very well as a step for shorter persons.
The need is when I am taking my 3 year old nephew in my 4runner on outings.
I saved these Jeep pics as concept products. So far it seems I will need to have them custom fabricated.I am currently using a folding step stool for my occasional need.

Greetings fellow 4Runner enthusiast. Have you thought about trying to find someone with the predator steps and trade them?

A few questions you have to ask yourself:
    1) what is your budget?
    2) how much off roading are you really doing that might cause the frame to be hit hard (i.e. rock crawling)

if you don’t mind spending money and need ground clearance but will most likely not hit the frame (so rock sliders are not needed) then you could get automatic running boards like these. They come out when you open the door and retract when you close the door

I’m assuming you’re on the older side if you have issues getting in the truck. What was the reason for getting a TRD pro? Do you really need it over a limited for example? I think the limited comes with auto running boards already (or at least can be had from the dealer). The TRD pro retains its value extremely well so you could look into trading yours for a limited if that would make your life easier
