What are those side steps on both of the Off Roads? I'm assuming a new OEM option? They look nice.

 

They look problematic to me on an Offroad vehicle. I’d rather have proper rock sliders

 

Maybe three out of every hundred 6th 4Runner buyers will ever have their vehicle off pavement. And maybe one out of a hundred will ever take it off of an actual road.

 

I like them. Especially the red. But just not the price. Lol.

4Runner off road trim? That would be concerning. I know not everyone with a current OR/ORP takes theirs off road but I feel like at least the majority does once in a while.

 

Weird. This seems to look better than I expected. I'm definitely going to check one of these out once they hit dealerships around here.

Went by a local dealership on the chance I could get a first hand look, sadly they won’t be getting their first delivery until next month!

 

Those wheels are terrible IMO. That would be the first thing I'd change.

 

No different than 5th gen owners.

There are people on this very site that don't even take their 4Runners out in the rain.

This is funny, because you are probably pretty accurate. Although, "off pavement" might not be the correct term, since I drove down a lot of dirt and gravel roads well before I started "off-roading."

Currently, though, everyone I know who owns a 4Runner takes them off pavement regularly.

 

I think the pavement-only bias will be more pronounced with 6th gen owners.

The larger body and proportions of the 6th gen look just right with 35's.

Good to see they got it at MSRP and didn't get price gouged.

 

For 60K+ they could put wheels and other things that isn't going to get taken off right away.

What is striking is that sales and support for this model are so abysmal, this vehicle hit the dealer, was not pre-sold, no deposits, and the dealer has reorted to listing it on Cars.com, CarGurus.com, and CarFax.com to try to sell it.
Its crazy that a whole bunch of them are at dealers already and having to be listed on multi-link sites for views. Cars.com has over 35 listings on the west coast for 2025 4Rs

I have never been a fan of maroon but this mogs the new LandBruiser like a super model next to goat herder

 

Hopefully that equates to some big price drops.

 

It appears the rear seat has less leg room then the 5th gen?
