Do these rocker panels come black from toyota?
Online it says "without body color"

I believe they come black, but I haven’t purchased them yet.

 

They come black, no reason to have them color matched, you only see 1/4 inch of it.

 

Grille complete! TRD Pro upper grille, color matched blizzard TOYOTA garnish made for Limiteds, and with black letters, and finally Amber Raptor lights to finish it off

 

Are those OEM Caliper Covers or aftermarket?

Saw the OEM Red Caliper covers on the latest 2023 TRD Pro Demo. Trying to get OEM part numbers

 

I actually removed the front and rear calipers and had a paint shop paid them, I had them put on Trd decals before they did the clearcoat.

Newest addition....285 60 R20 BFG KO2's

 

Wanted to improve the stance just slightly and give my UCA's just a little more room to breath...Took it off road over the holiday weekend and had some very minor rubbing on the UCA's at full lock in reverse while suspension was articulated so I added some 1/4 hub centric wheel spacers. Came out perfect! This is how they should come stock!

 

Do you have a similar photo to this that shows the detail of the rear end of the rocker panel?

Really nice job converting your Limited. Had I known anything about 4Rs prior to my purchase, I probably would have gone the Limited route with a similar appearance conversion.

ps - I think your Limited wheels with the lift look great. You don't really want to look like every other 4R out there, do you?

 

I agree, I like the limited wheels with the larger tires. I wanted to keep it as much OEM As possible, But make it look a little tougher but clean. As far as the trim, I went to my local Toyota and ordered the front and ends and trim and didn't have any issues.

 

Washed, detailed, and Ceramic coated. Next upgrade is installing the electric motor for side mirrors. Just awaiting delivery

 

Newest upgrade, power side folding mirrors. Shoutout once again to @Daytonaviolet for the reaources to guide me on the install.

 

do you have the link to the 1/4 inch hub centric wheel spacers you used ? It looks great with the 285/60/20!

 

Gotta ask who mounted the tires on the wheels? Discount wouldn’t do 265s much less 285s

I dig this build a lot. As I'm reading though the "I'm done" on 12/1 and "my next mod" on 12/27 made me lol

 

Oh yes, seems like they keep coming out with new stuff that wasn't available in 2021 when I purchased my 4 Runner. as my wife says, it never ends lol

 

I noticed on the link that those don’t have the hub centric ring lip. Did that effect you when installing ?

 

I havent come across any 1/4 ones that have a lip. I believe becuase its the thinnest you can buy. These rest on the hub perfectly and there was still about 1/2 of hub sticking out that the rim rested on when I was re-installing the tire. I've also taken it up to 90 mph on the freeway to see if there would be any shaking or steering wheel movement and there was nothing. They are pricey, about $200 for 4 spacers, but they are perfect fits.

 

These boras are pretty expensive but I found these hub centric but again they are .375 inches

 

Bora is a solid brand for sure. I believe they can custom make a 1/4 spacer as well.
