Thanks for your service to our country OP.
I would think you get get that fixed relatively affordably. They might be able to plastic weld that cracks and repaint saving the cost of a new bumper. I would think the white would be easier to match.

Never removed the bumper cover before. However, I will look behind the mudflap to see if there`s something unusual. Is it possible for the engine, transmission, gas tank or anything else to be dislocated as a result of the impact?

Yeap. That`s what I`m planning to do. To replace the whole bumper is too much money. Uncle Sam does not want to give us a bigger raise cause money need to go to Ukraine LOL

Yes, of course. I need all terrain tires. I had lived in Florida and came here in NY state a few months ago with these regular, highway tires that don`t help in snow.

Not if the hit only damaged the bumper cover.

But If the hit felt harder than the damage suggests, you may want to take it off to have a look.

I see. No, it did not feel like the hit affected anything other than what is seen in the pics. I was just wondering. Thanks much for your response!

OP if you are staying in Wisconsin a while get your frame treated with fluid film or similar. The salt will eat your frame up here buddy.

Yes, I`m in NY. The same thing applies with the salt. What exactly do I have to use to protect the frame?

Find some place to either Fluid film, wool wax, surface shield, NH oil, or something like that. Spray the underside, I’d get it done twice the first year, then yearly.

Not perfect, but it will help slow the rust.

You can always do a high-clearance cut of the plastic bumper cover to erase any evidence of the damage, like the other guy with a white TRD Off Road. Cutting costs $0. :homer:

By now you should understand why the stock tires are nicknamed Dunflops...

You’re right. I was worried about any potential damages underneath the car as a result from the impact…
