Headunit freezing

Hey guys

I have a 2019 4Runner, and it seems like the headunit will freeze once a day if not more, then reboot. It is frustrating to say the least. Has anyone come across this?

Entune w/Nav

 

I wonder if unhooking the battery for 30 mins would reset it. Or cause it to reboot. Or something.

Doubtful but worth a shot.

 

contact your dealer, some of the head units have issues, they will more than likely just replace it under warranty. Have you done any entune updates to it recently?

 

I've only had that happen on a few occasions where it would freeze and reboot

 

I've had the 4Runner for 3 months and it freezes probably once a day if not more. I checked and it looks like I'm current on software. I'll take it to the dealer this weekend, and see what they have to say about it @jester243

 

I’ve been having he same issues so I’m interested in what you find out.

My 2018 TRD ORP does it and I do have the latest firmware installed.

 

Just had mine updated at the dealer to the most recent update (my new iPhone XR) was not pairing nicely with it all the time. The most recent update available is version 01019E
