Blackout chrome on tailgate

I am thinking of blacking out the chrome on the tailgate of my 4runner Pro.

What do you think? Yes or no.

 

yup.. do it. I'm hoping to get the kit for Christmas

 

I'll just do plastidip myself to see how I like it.

 

I say, get rid of every bit of silver/chrome on the entire rig,..... just me/my opinion

 

I say chrome out the rest of your truck to match the tailgate.

That's odd. My 2015 came blacked out except for the 4runner lettering.

 

You are correct the picture I posted was of the back of a different model 4runner. Only the Toyota logo and the 4runner script is chrome on my Pro.

 

I wanted to tone down the chrome but not totally get rid of it so I went with the vinyl from MtnRdr here https://tvdvinyldecals.com/collecti...lem-inlay-decals-for-2010-2018-toyota-4runner

Love the hint of chrome with most of it blacked out.

 

Yes I did the same kit & like it more then the full black out look

 

I would plastadip it and go from there if youre not too picky on the paint lol if youre blacking the rear out, and take these on, lmk too cuz Im thinking of getting these for my girl but for her black 4runner but I wanna see if other people have seen these

Haven't seen these but I think they would be a sweet touch to blacking out the rig. I like
