Slick topped today. Bought the wife a slick top kit for Christmas and got it installed today. She says it made the 4R look shorter. She didn’t like it. Wants it back stock. I think it looks pretty good.

Looks good. I almost did that myself but I use the rails as hand holds when I wash the car. Plus, I was concerned about compromising the water seal.

Did roof rack delete a few weeks ago. Love the look. Used silicone and loctite. We've had some heavy rain since, and everything is sealed tight. Also, if you live where it snows, it makes cleaning snow off the roof so much easier.

It looks really good! Did the roff rack delete earlier in '24 on my '23 SR5P. No problem with leaks and really like the looks without it!

Once you see how it’s done and how it works, it’s just as good or better with the kit installed vs roof rack. You could always add a foam seal or silicone under the clips if you like.
I’ve used the roof rack bars to pull myself up but find it’s harder to wash the roof with them using a flat mitt on a handle. Was hoping the slick roof was easier to wash. Certainly would be much easier for snow removal.
