I was pulling Christmas boxes down and put a small dent in my 4r. What is this part called? Any suggestions to remove or lessen it?IMG_0443.jpg

    Oooh look, another mod.....
It's on the roof. 99.9999% of the time, you will never see it. Ignore it and don't get it fixed.

If you really want it fixed, find a PDR shop and ask how much to fix one small dent. When mine had 1200 miles on it we had a hail storm and there were dozens of those little dents. I was heartbroken until I found out about paintless dent repair. The shop that did mine was amazing and every dent is gone. Maybe a single dent wouldn’t be too expensive. But as others have said, nobody will ever know.

Pointless dent removal is the way to go if really bothers you. A guy in my area who I use removed a bigger dent in my door than what you have, he charged me $60.

I used a paint less dent removal guy for larger and more dents than that. If you research a good one in your area should be an easy fix.

Thanks for all your replies. I will probably go to a PDR shop to take it out.

Paintless dent removal may result in stretching of the metal depending on location of the dent. Had a golf ball dent my rear passenger door on my FJ. (parked by the ASU driving range) The door was like a clicker after the dent was removed.

PDR, but let it be. My roof has 100 tiny ones like that. No one's looking there.

You must be really tall! As others have said PDR is the way to go. It's the top of the liftgate btw.

Had pointless dent removal done two weeks ago. It’s amazing what they can do. That’s what I’d do if I were you.

There seems to be considerable opinion that PDR in this case is, as some have called it, pointless dent repair...;)

I had a crease removed by a vacuum method. Did not injure paint. Only because I knew it, could I spot it after repair.

What's the going price for a ding in that area? I had two removed from my Tacoma for $80 cash.
