Welp. I guess joining the 5th gen group will have to wait a bit longer. The lunar rock was sold by the time I even stepped foot on the lot. Really bummed about that one. Couldn't get anyone to play ball with me on the white rental. The 4runner Gods are telling me I have to wait, and so I will.
In the meantime, if I come across a low mile '23 Lunar Rock or a realistic priced '24 Underground TRD ORP then probably l will pursue this again. In the meantime, thanks for the good conversation about previous rentals.

PS, for anyone interested, there's a dealer in NY that wants $51k for a '24 Underground. I just can't swallow that price so easily.
If there was some year end discount on it, then maybe I would of pulled the trigger.
I'm sure I will find one by April.
