Needing a idea on what to do for the two boots (transmission shifter and transfer case shifter ) along w the correct trim bezel - I’ve tried to search “outside the box” ideas with no results - I’ve also tried to find older used parts as well.

Look for wrecked cars or cars being parted out and see if you can get them to pull the parts you need. They don't often post the interior parts because so few people are looking for them.

Just go to your local junk yard for the bezel, I got a new leather boot from Etsy

Wondering if anyone has a bezel they could trace out (my age) of the opening and I could modify one from same 98? I wish I had a pattern to make one so that it fits

Are you looking for this plastic trim piece? Or the lock ring inside?

IIRC (which I may not it’s been awhile) the leather boot is held in by a snap ring or somesuch on the backside of the bezel. It should be there regardless. Just wanted to make sure I understood your request.

Do you have an automatic or a manual? The autos are usually quite abundant at the scrap yard
