Hey from Ohio. I didn’t get my FJ…..yet. But I did get myself a 5-generation SR5 Premium. I want to avoid heavy modifications until my warranty expires. I don’t want to chance any reason they could find to void my warranty.

Right now all I’ve done is upgrade the audio (Upgraded to all Alpine components with an SS-SB10 subwoofer) and make some cosmetic changes (black overlays on all badges and grill, changed all interior and exterior lighting to LED, 25% tint on windshield, moonroof and all windows)

If anyone could please offer some suggestions / ideas, I’d appreciate any advise you’ll have.

    1) Avid fisherman and I’d like to find safe and secure solution to getting my rods out of the way. Ideally above my head. And any ideas about tackle and equipment safe and out of the way too.

    2) How in the hell do I replace the glovebox light? I had the dash torn all the way down. But once I got near the passenger airbags, I got scared and put everything back together.

    3) I want to add a yellow light-bar in the front while keeping it looking as stock and OEM as possible. Any ideas for installing maybe behind the lower front grille? Brand of lighting suggestions and anything else you can offer.

    4) I added aftermarket steps (Raptor Series Magnum RT Drop Steps RTS75TY). I didn’t want them but when you date short women guess I don’t have a choice haha. At night you can’t see anything. I’d like to put some type of lighting under them or inside them. But I feel like the salt and them being out in the elements it’s probably not a good idea for me to do that.

    Thanks everyone in advance

    Tony

I told myself I would take it slow. That lasted until I got home from the dealer haha. I had an entire 4Runner lifestyle cart full haha. But I’m trying to control myself at first haha
