    I own a 2019 Toyota 4Runner TRD
I am the owner of a 2019 Toyota 4Runner TRD. Currently, I have Dunlop Grandtrex AT20 BW tires installed on my vehicle, which are the OEM tires. P265/70R17 113S Recently, I learned that Dunlop was acquired by Goodyear. However, after conducting some research, I am considering switching to Nitto Terra Grappler BW tires, specifically in black wall due to my lifestyle but your forum has a lot more knowledge then I have to make the correct best choice for my lifestyle.

Given that I now will use the truck for 4x4 beach sand activities, (my current tires, have 31,000 miles & showing severe signs of dry rot and need to be replaced). Price is not an issue and I want to invest in the tire that best suits my needs

    Your recommendations are very appreciated!

Considering my driving needs, which involve navigating tight spaces in reverse while parked and driving on soft deep beach sand as well as highways, it is crucial for me to invest in new tires before the winter in NY. I live in a waterfront no outlet area that is rarely if ever plowed. Therefore, I am contemplating which tire would be the best for my situation.

Thanking everyone for their feedback, comments and help.

Go to the search bar and type in "best tires", then click on "search this forum only". There are literally hundreds of posts to read. I think you'll find your answer.

Opinion: Find something that fits your highway and snow needs first and I’m thinking it’ll also do fine on sand too.

As said above there are very good tire thread if you do a search.

But I wanted to add a small point about sand driving. Even though I hate skinny tires like 255/75R17 or bigger 255/80R17 I believe these skinny tires are the best for sand driving ve wider tires. Just my 2c.

Thank you. This is my first truck and my first time encountering sand on the beach.

    Oooh look, another mod.....
A lot of vehicles can drive on sand with relative ease. Even 4 door family sedans. Just air down and know your terrain.

OP, if you have a Costco near you, check out Michelin tires. Good pricing and an excellent reputation.
There is a couple of styles that would suit your needs but, I don't recall the designation numbers/letters.
Go to the Michelin web sight and find the ones that you like and Costco sells.
Good luck with your search and welcome from the 406.

I've had several sets of them over the years.

Get an all terrain tire. The extra tread depth and side wall protection is helpful on the beach to prevent tire damage. There is a lot of stuff out there, rocks, firewood, debris with nails and anything else that washes up in storms. Toyo Open Country AT III, BF Goodrich All Terrain, Goodyear Workhorse or anything similar are all good options. They will also all be good in the snow.
