    This is the exact setup I have. I started with the Stage 2 Pro Truck Lift, then my drivers rear shock blew. Called Eibach, and it was under their million mile warranty and they offered to replace it. I mentioned that I was looking at upgrading to the reservoir shocks, and they gave me a good deal on the set of 2R's for the back. I am SUPER happy with this setup.

    I'm about to install this same kit this weekend. Did you leave front adjustment as it came from Eibach? If not, did you by chance measure the threads showing and what lift height was your goal?

    Hi Ben!

    No, I didn't leave it stock from Eibach, which I believe is 2.5" or 2.75". I went up to 3.25" in the front, but you know, it took a lot of playing with over several days. What I didn't factor in is the suspension settling and so too. My recommendation, take a few days after, play with the adjustments, then get an alignment.

    I installed mine as they came from Eibach. I measured from the spring collar to the top of the clevis for the bottom mount and they came 3". I'm not really trying to raise the front any more than necessary to level it out with the rear 1" lift.

    Measuring from the center of the hub to the fender, the front driver side came out to 23 1/8" and the front passenger came out to 23 3/4". I've already lowered the right side by 3/8" on the threads and it seems to have only yielded about a 1/4" difference now at 23 1/2". Anyone know the rate at which you need to raise or lower the preload on these for the 4Runner?

    Eibach stage 2, load lifter kit, Maggie w/ OTT tune... Other stuff.
    The math is easy... At least the front coils, load lifter in the rear is close.

    Aspect ratio (.67:1) x desired lift = the amount of adjustment on the strut.
    .67 x .125= .083 adjustment. Currently have it set at 23" in the rear 22 3/4 front driver and 22 7/8 front passenger. Waiting on my bumper for final front adjustments. Currently sitting close to the pro kit i removed 23.5 rear and 22.5 front.

    Get a cheepo digital micrometer from HF or Jeffs. Makes life much easier.

    Make sure to lube the adjustment threads and take the weight off the coils, when adjusting.

    Quick update for anyone following this now or later. I decided I wanted to try and keep using the stock upper control arms, so I set out to lowering the front to at least 2.5" of total lift over stock. Out of the box the front was more like 3.5".

    After messing with it quite a bit and eventually calling Eibach, determined that for 2.5" of lift there needed to be about 2.25" of space between the bottom of the adjustment collar and the top of the lower shock mount (black to black). Also, you need to adjust both sides before measuring either side. I also rolled the truck out of the garage and down the drive way after each adjustment before measuring to make sure nothing was binding.

    The front passenger ended up right at 2.5" with 2.25" space between the collar and lower shock mount. The front driver ended up at 2.5" with 2.5" space between the collar and lower shock mount.

    Eibach said that no threads showing is 2" over stock for those that might want to go that low. They also said each full rotation of the collar equals about 1/8" change in height.

    Hope that helps someone.
