Good morning. Who has had success removing the rack? I tried using a soldering gun on the bolt but that didn’t have any luck on the Loctite. So then I tried a propane torch but that destroyed the plastic housing around the screws. How do you get the screws out without melting the base plate?

I was fortunate just a little bit more elbow grease and patience applying constant pressure released all the bolts on my rack. An impact driver would also be your friend.

This! But no impact driver. I removed mine a few weeks ago. The bolts get pretty hot when turning, just keep going slow

Thanks all. I was able to get them off with use of a heat gun or torch. Best advice I saw was leave it in the sun for a few hours. They seemed to loosen up but I did take it slow. Thanks again!
