    Hi All,

I'm not a fan of the TRD Pro roof rack and am looking for alternatives. The pro rack sits high in my opinion. The only thing I like about it is I can clean between the crossbars. It's also easy to remove the crossbars when I want to put a ceramic coating on it. That's been my challenge with after market racks. They have multiple crossbars that are not easy to remove.

I've thought about getting rails and adding my own crossbars. That's an option. Does anyone know of any other racks that are low profile where crossbars can be easily removed?

    Thanks.

Following. I also want to ditch my Pro rack, and can't decide between the Prinsu Pro or Sherpa Crestone

All the low profile are very similar. I have the Wescott Designs modular. Simple to remove cross bars but not quick. Requires lots of loosening bolts. Personally not worth the effort to me.

Seems all of them require the removal of multiple bolts, which is why I'm asking. Maybe I overlooked something in the market.

It's not just removing the bolts on both sides of cross bar you want to remove. Need to loosen all the bolts on cross bars to release the pressure holding the rack tight.

Too poor to buy anything now
I don't use my Pro roof rack but I would like to put a fairing on it. Has anyone done this and what fairing did you use?

I ended up removing mine for the Crestone Sport. Got it for $800 from TEQ. I sold the pro rack for 375

I think this setup is pretty cool. Stock roof rails, Rola rack, attached to the factory roof rails with the 4x Innovations mounting brackets. No crossbars.

Cali Raised offers a premium roof rack, it features a clean and sleek design as well as a industry first adjustable wind deflector which significantly improves aerodynamics and wind noise!

There is also a 15% off sitewide sale going on that would include the roof racks!

I really like my Sherpa Crestone. Adding / removing / adjusting the crossbars has been easy and only requires addressing two hex bolts on either end of the crossbar. I've also added Sherpa's adapt plates (and have some diamond plate in reserve) for use in building a walkable platform on the roof.

I'm a fan of the OEM roof rack from the SR5 or Off-Road trim with the LFD crossbars.
