So when I got my Backwoods Adv Mod grill, I bought new fogs that were 12v. The OEM are 6v (I believe). Has anyone created or seen a mount/enclosure I can use for the 5th gen OEM fogs so I can move them to be ditch lights or lights I mount on the rear of my roof rack? I know they are not made for it but I hate to waste a working, built in switch and circuit.

No one better not tell me the OEM fogs are 12v and I just had to do xyz to make the Pathfinder fogs work on the OEM circuit.

They're 12 volt. Stepping down to 6 volt would require more components to make it work. I have only seen mounts to replace the OEM fogs with aftermarket fog but nothing to move them elsewhere.

I plugged the Pathfinders in directly and no worky. Wired Pathfinders directly to battery with only the supplied inline relay and they work. What am I missing? I swear I read in a few forums that the fogs are 6V. I need to go check the plug with my meter.

Relocate the OE fog lights to marketplace lol. Might as well recoup a couple bucks.

That'll be my next move if there are no good ideas on an enclosure or relocate idea. I like the idea that I can just get an extender and mount them elsewhere.

The move technically can be done a couple ways with custom harness extensions. But worth it? Probably not worth it. Just buy ditch lights or new lights to wire up.

The 2 different lights lights you have require a step up or step down inverter. Doable but not worth it.
