Because people use them for towing and off-roading. o_O

Toyota may have just given Nissan a big boost thanks to their high prices, engine failures and transmission problems.

    Yeah.

Edit: there's a difference between needing to tow 20,000# 5th wheel trailers around, and someone just wanting to be able to tow a small travel trailer or boat without it sucking.

I think you’re going to be greatly disappointed driving one of these after talking it up so much.

I've already driven a '24 Taco and Landcruiser. How about you?

I drove a Frontier and considered it for a minute. It's a nice truck, quieter and better ride than a Tacoma, no power slider, no telescopic steering and only drivers side auto window. Then I drove a new Tacoma, rougher ride and noisier. I drove by another dealer that had a 4Runner Pro, after driving it, there is no comparison. The 4Runner blows them away. Out of the 3, the 4Runner holds it's value the best and Nissan tanking in value.

You obviously skipped basic economics in high school. Well it’s never too late to catch up.

Toyota should have just put the retired 5.7l v8 or the Lexus 5.0l in the 5th gen and called it a day. They could run their factories 24x7 for several years and still never catch-up with demand.

Is your neck still sore from unleashing all those horses? :D
Did you do any towing with them?

That would disappoint the three people that really want the turbo 4 banger.

I had to wear a neck brace for 6 weeks, but I'm ok now.

I’ve always considered the 4Runner to be the Swiss Army Knife of vehicles. A jack,of all trades but master of none.
Please elaborate which morals you are referring to.
