admin help - can't post in marketplace

I don't know how to contact the admin team.

I get the following error when trying to post in marketplace.

Any ideas?

You should only be posting in here if you're selling something specific, or looking to buy something specific (secondhand). If you have general questions about what to buy, or what kind of part you need, those belong in the appropriate forum, not in Marketplace.

The following Buy / Sell / Trade rules apply to ALL subforums and threads on 4Runners. Attempts to circumvent B/S/T Marketplace Rules (posting outside of dedicated B/S/T subforums with less than 10 posts, post padding just to sell items, etc.) may result in an immediate ban of your account.

SELLERS RULES
1. You must have a minimum 10 posts (legitimate posts, no spamming the Off Topic) before you may post an item for sale on 4Runners. If you place an ad without the prerequisite 10 posts, your ad will be deleted.
2. If you post a for sale thread, please be sure you are interacting with our 4Runners community. If you meet the minimum post requirements, but your posts consists along the verbiage of "lol", "idk" in attempt to be insidious to meet the post requirement, your account privileges will be revoked at staffs discretion. This is not your personal Craigslist.
3. The subject-line of your post must be a description/name of what you're selling
4. You must include a price for the item. If you aren't sure, put down a number and add "OBO" after it (Or Best Offer)
5. You must include a picture of the item you're selling. It must be the actual item, not a manufacturer stock photo. It can be attached to the post, or embedded from other sites, such as photobucket. The item MUST be available for sale at time of posting. If its on a vehicle, make sure its removed. If you want to sell something, and its still on the vehicle, then you can make a thread after its removed, and ready for sale.
6. For local-pickup or regional sales, you must include your city in the post and specify that it's a local-pickup or regional sale
7. Specify the model year that the parts you're selling are made for
8. When naming a price, take into account any fees that PayPal may charge you (under "Receiving purchase payments")
9. If you are selling the item on an auction or classified site, you may link to the sale from your post-BUT YOU MUST still include a picture in the post.
10. When the item you're selling is no longer for sale, please indicate so by replying to your sales thread. This helps avoid confusion among people seeing your post.
11. Sellers may bump their threads only once a day (please remove previous bump)
12. Carfax reports are not allowed to be sold via 4Runners
13. Please do not make multiple threads for the same items
14. No "selling for a friend" threads. Anyone listing items for sale must be the owner of the item.

BUYERS
1. If you're making a willing-to-buy post, it must have WTB: in the subject, followed by the item you're looking to buy

DO NOT BASH for sale threads in what you think is a good price to sell an item. PM the OP and give them a suggestion. You have been warned and actions will be taken if this happens.

DO NOT post for-sale threads that are not complete. Photos are part of the deal, so don't start a thread until you have them ready. If you do not post a complete thread, it will be nuked. Statements such as "My dog ate my camera" or "Photos when I get home tonight" are not good substitutes for photos.

"Feeler" ads are to be considered BST ads. As such, the above rules apply.



Please use caution when buying items from outside your local region and using electronic services like PayPal or Venmo for payment. 4Runners.com will not be responsible for any deals gone wrong. When using Paypal, please consider using the goods & service option, the extra fee is often worth the extra protection as the buyer.

 

I read through all of the rules, but I can't post in marketplace for some reason ( my account meets all of the requirements )

Copy & paste your ad. Then delete it completely. Start a new thread with just the basics: Title, a few words, etc..

After it's posted, paste the text from the original ad into the new ad.

 

Doesn't work, I keep getting that error message. Guessing my account is bugged, hopefully one of the admins can move my post to the correct forum

 

Have you tried different internet browser? Different search engine?
pop up blocker both off the on?
I kept changing things till a combination worked.
Also make sure photos are not too many MegaBites.

 

You didn't say...BUT the error says "...to enter a valid title..", did you put a Title on the title line??

That's the only time I have ever seen that error message is when I forget to put a title on the title line, so I have to ask.

 

To add to AuSeeker's post, do you have any special characters in your title? If so, maybe the forum software doesn't allow them which would cause the error.

Do you have FS or For sale in the title?

 

I tried everything lol
added for sale, posted pics, added a title.

For some reason the forum wouldn't let me post
