Interior Door Handle Covers

I hate the look of the chrome interior door handles . Who makes the best covers for these and are they good fitting ?

They fit perfectly and I don't even know they're covers. They feel normal/natural.

 

this is exactly why I hate this forum (as my credit card comes out yet again to buy something that I didn't know I needed 5 minutes ago)

 

I also have the Meso Customs ones. Love them. Downside is passengers can no longer find the door handle

 

I bought the Meso covers as well. And I agree, I completely forget they are covers until someone makes a thread like this. Within a week or two of buying my 4Runner in 2022, I was driving southbound on the 25, early in the morning and the sunlight reflecting off the passenger side chrome handles was blinding. As soon as I got home I researched handle covers, and I've loved them ever since.

 

There's an easy fix for that. Remove the seats, make a sleeping platform, and tell people you don't have room for passengers.

 

I'm good. My dogs don't know how to use the door handles anyway.

 

Got mine off Amazon for less. AJT designs are 43$ and Voodonala are 41.99 and a 5% off coupon.

 

How are they holding up? Finish looks like it will scratch easily.

 

I have had them installed for a year now, and they look brand new. Now, I don't have passengers in my ride all the time. So I can only comment on the drivers side (which gets used a lot - my 4Runner is my daily driver).

The drivers side handle looks new. I'll go down to the parking lot at lunch to take a picture of it, to verify.

Edit: Here are three pictures that I just took. They show the wear is very very minimal. If at all.

me too. I ordered the AJT off Amazon instead of the Mesos because i'm like a 9 yr old kid who has no patience and can't wait for anything.

 

That's what this site really is. It's not JUST about your 4Runner. It's a site full of enablers that condone bad/irresponsible people who spend needlessly.

I would wait for the Meso over the AJT. IMO Meso ha a higher quality look, and I have both.

 

the blackout steering wheel emblem overlay is also a must buy IMHO

 

I went W/Carbon Fiber look

 

anything to get rid of all that cheap plastic "chrome".... I don't care if you cover it with pink camo, it's still better than the chrome

 

What stands out as the difference? Is it the texture or the finish? Do they both attach as securely? I was wondering how easy they can come off because I'm typically pulling on the handle without a lot of care when exiting. TIA.

 

So I'm curious - the photos on Meso's site seem to show two different textures, if you zoom in...one photo shows more of a textured finish:


The other a smoother finish:



So which is it, really?

 

It's like Peanut Butter. Chunky or Creamy.

I just received the AJT covers and installed them...... They are OK, they fit fine, but they look a little cheap to me. The Mesos definitely look nicer in the pics. I'm going to return the AJT's and order them.

 

I just installed the AJT's. I'm fine W/them & the MESO are sold out. I didn't see where you could order smooth or textured on their site?

 

I just ordered the Mesos from 4Runnerlifestyle less than 15 mins ago... They are actually on sale for $42.50 at the moment. And shipping was only $3.

edit: there is no option for smooth vs textured.... I'd guess that was just a subtle difference between manufacturing runs
