Accessoride or start-x what would be your choice and why? I don’t care about the takeover feature start-x is a little cheaper but which one is better quality and will last longer?

We’ve had the Accessoride remote start in our 21 Venture since 2 weeks after we bought it new in January 2021. Zero problems.

I've had accessorides in my last 4 trucks. No issues. Never had start-x so can't speak to a comparison. Accessorides has awesome customer service. They help even when a couple years old and out of warranty.

12v Solutions gets my vote every time. I'm on my fifth vehicle with a remote start kit built by them. I'd be on my sixth or seventh if they made a kit for those vehicles. Their customer service is insane (I've gotten answers on Sundays).

Second that on 12v Solutions. No issues in over 5 years, and I believe it's veteran owned. Install was plug and play and easy.

Accessorides for a few years now with no issues. I chose it because it doesn't shut off when I open the door. (Though I think most aftermarket remote starts are like that but no experience with others so I can't say)

Not sure yet. I have had mine for 2 years and I regularly get a no start situation. It seems like it will engage the starter but not the ignition so it just cranks or nothing at all except some relay clicking and then I get a P0335 code for the CPS. I'm not sure if it's a connection issue or a faulty module but it wasn't always like this but it just started to do this one day.

I bought the remote start from Accessorides.com and added the alarm module and phone app. Great customer service and a very well made unit. I use it all the time!!!

I installed the Start-X. Works as advertised. The only downside to these aftermarket devices is they don't do what the OEM units can do. I had a Honda Accord that had remote start built in, and it would automatically turn on either the A/C or heater, depending on what was needed to bring the cabin to 72º. The Start-X requires me to think the night before about what I want the car to use, heat or AC. I suppose I could just leave the temp gauge in the middle to get closer to what the Honda would do, but that doesn't defrost the windows on a cold morning. Other than that, the nice benefit is car camping in the winter. If you get cold, just hit the remote three times and it'll start the engine, warm up the vehicle, then shut off after 15 minutes. A nice trick to use while sleeping.
