My door is jammed and I'm fairly certain it's the lock cylinder. I've looked up every video I can find about removing the cylinder from a 3rd gen, but all of them simply have a screw over their cylinder. Mine has this electrical piece connected to this wire. I'm assuming the cars in the videos don't have electric doors?

How do I remove this so I can access the cylinder? I tried yanking on it but I just cracked it a little. :(

There should be a "Release Tab" that you push/squeeze on it that locks it into the receptacle. The connecting rod has a plastic lock that you would "roll " it off the rod. Looks like a Tywrap on the connector

I've pulled, pushed, and yanked on it from every angle. Should I just break the tywrap?

Don't "break" the "Ty-wrap"/zip tie, very carefully CUT it and then try to carefully disconnect the connector, you WILL NOT be doing yourself any favors by "breaking stuff" you'll only cost yourself more money!!

Well of course that's what I meant lol. I don't know how I'd break it other than cutting it out.

I take what is written literally when someone is asking for advice, that's so I don't feel bad if they screw it up....just in case they actually meant what they wrote!!

    Ok.

Well I cut it. I still can't get the damn thing off. All the zip tie did was hold the wire in place.

There is a release tab somewhere on that connector, you just have to locate it, a mirror may help.

Good news: I found a video with this part. There is a wire behind the piece that needs to be removed.
Bad news: the door is still jammed.

Not sure what to tell you to try.
If you do get it fixed be sure to replace the tip tie, it's there to keep the wiring harness from getting caught up and jammed up in the window regulator/track.

Was going to add about 2 inches to the left of the "F" embossed on the handle is about a 12 gauge circular type lock with a little bump out that needs to be pried out to release the lock assembly. From that point manipulate the linkage up or down to simulate the door opening to see what works for ya.

2" left to that is where the lock cylinder was.
