It's like seeing a face but there's just skin covering the eyes, nose, and mouth. Like in horror movies.

Now that you mention it, it looks like it's yelling at the dog, and the dog is trying to figure out who's shouting.

I have black Toyota letters if you’re interested for cheap. They’re from yota expedition, they’re made to screw in, but the back of your grill probably doesn’t have the indentions on where to grill or just use double sided 3m tape

I appreciate the offer,,... I actually ended up ordering an OEM Pro grill with lettering earlier today. I'm hoping I can get the current one off with a heat gun.

I agree with Raptor lights suggestion and leave off lettering. That would pretty stealth and unique in my opinion

I think it looks awesome but just needs a little something… Blacked out TOYOTA for example. Nothing chrome, no lights, just one little touch to bring it back from the edge.

I warmed my oem pro black heritage garnish with a hair dryer. Slowly and carefully was able to remove and recenter. It took about 20 minutes. Just take your time - you can get it off.

    Stock so far…..
I debadged my black Tacoma, and have black letters on my Heritage grille, so I'm fan.
Personally, I feel the fewer words on the truck, the better.
Wife is getting a rear tailgate blackout kit for her/our 4Runner TRD Pro this Xmas.

    Answering Manhattan’s questions-

    1. Yes

    2. No

    Lol!

I ordered and installed a Yota Xpedition black grill for my 2022 SR5 Premium 4WD. They also offered the TOYOTA lettering for their black grill kit, but I opted not to order or install the lettering.

I am very happy with the looks of an all black grill and how it came out. You can see that I did add that little yellow, orange, and red badge to the lower left corner of the grill. (Left side of grill from the perspective of sitting in the driver's seat looking forward)

I had also installed raptor lights in my new black grill, but then took them back off after I learned here that they were so named after the Ford Raptor truck. I didn’t want to look like I was a Ford wanna-be. Lol.

I think your all black grill looks great.

I would make sure you keep your DRL lights on. All that black with no contrast may make you less noticeable to oncoming traffic in certain daytime driving/lighting conditions.

Looks good on a white truck with a white valance....very different than a black truck with a matte black valance. I'm going to try the Pro grill with the lettering. If that doesn't add enough contrast I think i'll spray the matte black valance with satin SEM or Plastidip. Just for the record I sold my '23 Raptor about 2 months ago lol.

He/She is asking for opinions, so the, it's your truck who cares responses are lame. Grow a pair and tell the OP the truth. You like it, or don't. Seems like if you weren't born before 1990 you're too scared to hurt someone's feelings, someone asking for honest feedback.

It needs something on the front to break up all that black. I guess I'm used to seeing toyota in silver letters across the front

Dog won't even look at it! It's missing a little something... Toyota emblem, the letters TOYOTA, something like that. Gloss black may have "worked" better. But really, YOU have to live with it, nobody else.... but the dog. Think of the poor dog! Na, just kidding.

Was it easy to remove the plain one or was it stuck on there pretty good?
