    Hopefully a bunch of the Wisconsin Tacoma/4Runner group can make it. All other Toyota trucks welcome to stop on over!
    ATM on site.
    **Last year it was cash only. Not sure if that’s still the case so be prepared.**
    Usually there’s a food truck. Also some food available in the Biergarten building Brats, dogs, large pretzels .

    I guess I'll 3 month bump this thing. I'm heading to Mark Twain NF now, be there tomorrow afternoon, to bang around for a day and a half and camp Friday and Saturday.

    Spending the first half of tomorrow at Land Between The Lakes...camping there now actually, at Nickell Branch govt campground, just south of Grand Rivers.

    You know I was honestly a little torn about it until I started taking this trip that I'm currently on. This thing really shines as a road trip vehicle. I did 600 mi yesterday and I wasn't even tired when I got to camp. In the 4runner I always just kind of felt worn out after that many miles. It's comfortable, it's surprisingly good on gas compared to the 4Runner, it's got plenty of room and is easy to sleep in, and I've been breaking it in off-road and it's every bit as capable as the 4R. I really like the V8, it's just loafing at 1300 rpm on the freeway and it has plenty of power even though it's really a pretty small V8.

    I have some minor niggles with infotainment and HVAC controls and such, but overall the more I drive it the more pleased I am with it. Hopefully I keep this fucking thing; I've been a real whore the last 2 years.

    Today I did the legit hardest "road" I have ever done in a daily driver and it did great (FD-0350 in Land Between The Lakes).

    Glad to hear that you’re enjoying it. Unfortunately, my off roading has been limited to the gravel wildlife drive at Ottawa preserve at Lake Erie and similar. So I’ll road-trip via the likes of you and others.
