I am just curious if I can do it on my own. I am sure it is heavy. Does anyone have experience with this that could point me in the right direction?

    Thanks!

Heh. Yes it is very heavy and you will need at least 2 people (I had 3) when I removed mine. Once you take the lift supports off, you will see what I mean. Two People holding the liftgate while the 3rd removed the fasteners and then supported the middle of it. Then, I got an old comforter that the dog sleeps on, and laid it on the grass so we could set it down without scratching the shit out of it or something.

You DONT want to drop it, trust me. Or have it knock you over.
