So I changed the tires in my '16 Limited from a 20" wheel down to 17".

The door card for the OEM 20s, calls for 245/60/20 at 32psi. I installed a set of 265/70/17 Firestone Winterforce UV 2 (SL 115) winter tires for now (these will be changed next spring to ATs) just that they came on the rims I wanted.

I went to the tire pressure calculator and entered the information, which I think is accurate. Not exactly sure what the difference is between P and Metric.. The recommended pressure comes back at 25PSI- this seems too low for me. Am I not entering something properly into this calculator? Can someone provide some input on this or even recommendations for proper pressure.

Ah, ok. Wow that's going to be some plushy ride then lol, I'm already impressed with how different it rides on these versus the 20's I had and I'm currently running 36psi.

I was running BFG KO2s 275/55/20 Load Range D on the Limited.. and going to these 17s changed the feel quite a bit, so I imagine even going down another 4psi more will soften it a bit more!

I too went from 20" nice road tires to 17" Wildpeaks. The ride changed drastically. Took me a while to get used to it. The Wildpeaks are great for off road and around town, but they don't do nearly as well on highway which is to be expected. I adjusted psi to firm up the Wildpeaks a bit as they were too soft for me. I am at 36psi. Did the chalk test and that psi is perfect.

That's actually the tires I want to go to in the spring are the Wildpeak A/T4W. This current setup also didn't come with TPMS sensors in them, so I will be installing those come spring as well. I assume running the limited without TPMS is not a big issue?

I went from the stock 20s at 32psi to P285/70/17 at 26psi. Very soft in comparison

Other than the annoying light on the dash, it's not a problem.
