I been having issues with leaking lines from my transmission cooler. I been tightening for a long time but keeps on leaking. I always check the fluid level but it says it has enough. Now my 1998 4runner 4cy around 0-15 jerks or lag on shifting. Other than that my car run good. I know how to work on car pretty will replace the spark plugs, new manifold gaskets, throttle body gasket, new egr gasket. I also cleaned up all carbon build ups on them. I still need to run codes but no check engine light for me. If you have any ideas please or experience with this please send me some tips to fix it.

Constantly tightening something is not a fix. Figure out why its not staying tight.

Well you were short about 1/4 the correct capacity.

Its 26 years old just drive it til it dies. We won't know how much damage is done over the interwebz.
