Fixed the hood flex issue by filling the gaps between the underside of the hood and the support structure with heat resistant expanding foam. Then installed the Start-X remote starter that works like a champ. Finished the day by installing a new-to-me TRD air intake.

I fueled it up during our drive back from Spokane, Wa. Where we picked up a pair of full doors for my 2nd TJ.
I got a hard top a couple of weeks ago. The TJ snow plow rig is almost ready to accept donations for free snow
    plowing in my neighborhood.

Not what I did, but what my daughter did yesterday. Totally out of character for her, kind of a girly-girl for the most part and very 'responsible' with her money. Needless to say I am extremely jealous.

These exact covers came with my previous 4Runner when I bought it and they held up great and didn't wear at all. If I still had them I would've done the TRD in the headrest too, such a great idea.

That's good to know. The factory Softex is starting to wear on the driver's seat. The arm rest is showing wear as well.

Front diff. Can't get the squeezies up there very well so I empty them into a plastic container and pump.

I like to have extra around, so there's 3 there.

I have not tried the seat heat yet. Will let ya know. I do not know the exact name of the material, but they look and feel great . They are a very little bit stiffer material than the softex, but so far so good.

    Sorry about your friend.
This mod is genius and the way to go for a Pro Skid plate.
I used stainless acorn nuts and lock washers. Little bit of grease on threads. Perfect.

That is a a great idea adding bacon to the turkey! Man who would think I could learn that on a 4Runner forum. Hope all of the Canadians had a nice and blessed holiday. I’m taking note of the bacon for our next month

Did our 1st roadtrip in our 4runner this past weekend. This was also our puppy's 1st roadtrip and she did great! Went to Albuquerque from Denver for the Balloon Fiesta (around 1,000 miles total... Finally breaking it in and it now has 2700 miles on the dash)

The makeshift barrier kept our escape artist in place all trip while we wait for our Raingler CargoNet to ship... (ETA 12 weeks!). Interesting part of the trip is we had an issue with our AirBnb and we 5thgencamped in a Walmart parking lot for 2 nights. Was a fun experience overall and our puppy was comfortable in her space!

I also was glad to have all of the Canvasback to protect things.

We did have one very loud rock pop the windshield on the way back, but luckily no crack! I did see just one little scuff on the windshield and we got lucky.

I'm thinking of getting 1 Molle panel for one of the rear windows for her things and to add a small fan for additional airflow.

New spark plugs, an oil change, new PCV valve, and fresh ATF in the power steering reservoir on this Columbus Day. Time for a few cold snacks.

Looked for a thread on the heated steering wheel, couldn't find one. What did this entail? That is probably my next project.

Here's the thread that has some info and a couple of options but basically you'd buy the wiring harness from Old Red and then the parts from your parts department of choice and put it all together. I did have my buddy, who is a wiring wizard, do this job but I've done Old Reds other wiring mods and he makes them insanely easy to understand and follow with step by step instructions. The Clockspring is what worried me about this one the most.
