New TRD Pro missing trans skid plate?

Is there supposed to be a skid plate covering the automatic transmission pan?

I have the front aluminum skid and the one below the engine. there seem to be tabs for another skid plate.
is it an option?

bought the truck new with 50 miles

 

Thought the same thing too, but that all looks normal. Paraphrasing here, but those tabs are used to hold a plastic splash guard for the Limited trim I think...

 

It's a Limited only air diverter for the full time 4wd case.

 

None on my 2024 ORP. Got RCI now sans gas tank, only took off two skids put on 3.

Not from Toyota. Aftermarket only.

No trans protection, just the sad little aluminum guy.

 

Just go aftermarket and get steel protection while you are at it.
