I was looking at replacing my interior lights with a brighter led option. I started reading some horror stories of electronic issues and possible fires due to differences in power draw from original lights to led.

Has anyone had any issues like this after switching out the interior lights?

Just looked at the paperwork and there’s no part number. It says upgrade all 11 interior lights to LED. And it says LED Bulb Package, not upgrade. Its not shown under the port options.

I will add that I also put that same Amazon kit in a friend’s Limited and she still has it and all is well.

Ok thanks. The reason for asking, I had SUPERBRIGHT LED’s in my 21 and had throttle body code thrown. Toyota had me to remove all non-Toyota LEDs before they would diagnose under warranty!!!!!
That’s why I asked about the LED Upgrade. (LED Package)

Turned out after I told them it wasn’t the LED’s causing the issue, Toyota corporate told dealership replace a faulty throttlebody.

I would like to know, from Toyota, what LED’s they are installing on dealer vehicles!
    Interesting ☝

BTW, as soon as Toyota replaced the TB, I installed all of my LED’s and then some. Haven't had any issues!

You ought to send them a bill for the time it took to r&r them. That’s ridiculous.

Too poor to buy anything now
I installed the set from CaliRaisedLED (all except the glove box light), no issues. LEDs draw less current so the possibility of an overheat fire by current draw would be less with them.
