    If you look at a member of the Army, Air Force or Space Force, the flag will be on their right arm with the field on the upper right to the viewer, as if the flag is moving forward.

    IMG_9398.jpg

    In reality, it’s everyone’s flag and due to the freedoms we enjoy can be flown in any manner one chooses…just “proper and respectful” ways of flying or displaying the flag.

    Got it undercoated with Fluid Film last night. Drove to work this morning and chuckled at the burn off cloud around my 4R in the parking lot. I need to wash it soon because there is quite a bit of overspray on... everything.

    Overall happy with the job for $180.

    I bet I know what happened;
    If you have a wife, definitely consider blaming her for unrealistically moving your stuff So you can’t find it. And then wait a number of weeks after you bought new ones and then you’ll find your old mudflaps and remember why you put them there. But of course, your wife will not be told

    This mod makes sense I think. But I’m trying to figure out how the air/dust actually gets into the cabin after it goes through the OEM filters.
    Is it coming in through the jack compartment? Under the interior tail light covers? Under the wheel well tray areas like where the AC inverter is installed? Between gaps in the plastic trim pieces in the back by the C pillar?

    Because I’ve dug into all those areas and do not see any unusual dust accumulation in any of those spots. But I do get a lot of fine dust on plastic surfaces (dash, instrument cluster, shift console, etc.) after wheeling on dusty roads.

    I always attributed this to the action of opening a door or the rear hatch and its sweeps in the very fine dust, which promptly settles and clings to any plastic, probably due to static charge.

    I changed out the chrome valances for the black ones. The front one only had 11 clips instead of 13.

    But there are 13 brackets on the OEM, so Toyota is skipping steps.

    My current DuraTracs were getting pretty loud and sloppy. I've had my eyes on the Goodyear Wrangler UltraTerrain AT for a while, because of their road manners/sound claims (and more or less match my DuraTrac LT spare.) Discount Tire was offering $80 off for buying online through an account until 10/14 (never seen on ANY promo on these before,) so I did it. Will see how it goes!

    Had them on my previous Taco and thought they were better than KO2's. The only set back with these is questionable longevity, since they don't come with any mileage warranty.

    @Pentangler I know! Borderline sketchy that warranty part, compared to A/T4W with 60/65k mile warranty for around the same price. How did yours hold up/last? -or did you sell the Taco before you could find out?
