For sure. I ended up going with a wider wheel so their a touch heavier than stock. I wanted to go with something lightweight like SCS wheels, but could not get any right away.

2024 ORP with KDSS and I notice wandering on the hiway, but I think that a lot of this is just due to the high sensitivity of the steering. There is virtually no play in the steering gear. I noticed that when I drive with one hand on the wheel and relax, which I don't like and usually don't do, the wander is greatly reduced. I think that a lot of it is just over correcting.

A KDSS 4R could perhaps comfortably carry more speed through corners requiring less acceleration upon corner exit. Thus better MPG.

Maybe the extra weight of KDSS in stop and go situations would decrease MPGs compared to non-KDSS.

English is overrated. I wouldn't consider anything about its complications a "finer" detail. Funny enough, I just had to correct the autocorrect to change "its" back to the original form after being autocorrected to "it's" in my previous sentence. Although, maybe instead of "it is" the apostrophe was to show English was possessive of complications. But that's my point - if you understood what I was trying to communicate, who cares. English is stupid

@FN2187 - what is this process of regular cleaning you speak of?

I’m getting 19 mpg overall on a 23 OR. It wanders a lot less after new tires, e load ko3’s and an alignment. I have Bilstein 5100 shocks ordered, hoping that will settle any remaining issues.

The wandering could be tire pressure as most dealers seem to wanna crank them up, but also it’s a brick with wheels.

Pull off the KDSS skid covering the accumulator (mounted to the frame under the driver door area), wash the dirt/mud/salt off the skid and accumulator, and I personally add some dielectric grease (I used spark plug grease last time) to the wiring to keep it from corroding.

The accumulator block is aluminum but the salt or whatever spray they put on the roads in winter will eat it away (search some threads to see what I'm talking about). The lines will also rust where they connect to that aluminum block and so will the wires. I usually pull and clean it in the spring and fall.

I've heard talk on the threads about a 2nd KDSS skid but looked briefly for it and didn't see one. I think the accumulator is the main one that causes the expensive failures
