I might get one for my dad when he dies. But I might also not get one for him when he dies. I'm very undecided and could honestly not care less about getting a tattoo any time soon

I assume this is a decent buy for $40? Not in a hurry to get a torque wrench but having one sure would be nice. Definitely not willing to black friday shop to save a few bucks.

My friend has a bunch of them, like a half sleeve and such. Can't say I understand why but they do look good on her.

That's a good deal on the torque wrench. I wish I could get one of those

I'm inclined to go get some ratcheting wrench sets since those are on sale too

I keep breaking my newer craftsman stuff. They aren't built the same. I actually really like the duralast ratchet handles from autozone

Yeah...I had one of my newer Craftsman wrench break pretty easily. I'm sure most people just buy them for the pretty easy going warranty.

Working on an 06 satoshi retrofit for an 03-05. I'm at the patching stage and it's my first time using fiberglass. Should turn out ok I hope.

looks a little heavy on the resin to me, would cut bak a bit to where the cloth is just soaked through. add some more cloth on top if its still wet.

re tattoos wouldnt get one, nothing important enough to me to display on myself, though I think sleeves look badass. Also can't be buried in a Jewish cemetery with the rest of my family if I have one, so no go.

re tools: i love my craftsman stuff. Bday is coming up and im gonna get some dewalt 20v li-on stuff, woot. craftsman hand tools cant be beat and have lifetime warranty. I wouldnt hesitate on the ratcheting wrenches. I have a set from gear wrench worth 100, got for 50 on black friday. use them all the time.

yeah man no problem, i rebuilt a fiberglass boat back in HS with a few friends. Stuff is nasty and burns like hell when you get it on your skin.

bad bubbles, but good saturation on the cloth - easier with wood because it absorbs extra resin better than plastic

I think the grill came out pretty damn awesome! I gave it extra time to cure, and it's SOLID and that makes me HAPPY. Granted, I made more work for myself because I was sloppy with the resin, but nothing a little sanding can't fix

So tonight my brake pedal randomly got super mushy and my e brake light is on and making a high pitched beep. Wtf happened? Overextend a brake line or what?

Might have a cracked line. Try having someone pump the brake slowly while you look

It's going pretty easily. I need to reinforce the back of that top patch. It kinda bowed down and I don't wanna sand off most of the fiberglass and have it crack
