Same, most of what I order is small business. I prefer it and don’t mind spending more to support these artists that make it fun for me on weekends.

Yeah, not surprised. It comes down to simple communication with customers, which is something they seem to be horrible at for years - and always with an excuse as to why. We're all a pretty understanding bunch. Sh*t happens, but there's a long-standing pattern here that is undeniable and indefensible.

 

Yeah shit happens but nothing new with them unfortunately and I hate seeing them take advantage of others when there are so many better shops within a half hour radius of them.

 

Agreed. And they shouldn't be taking money until the product is in stock and actually ships. I'm guessing they float their business on the money taken in from outstanding orders, which is bad business.

 

Everyone who had a bad experience should leave them reviews so maybe they will fix their stuff. They have 5 bad reviews in a row just from last month lol..

Awesome. Guess I should have done some research before ordering from them. I ordered a camera relocation kit. I'm not in a huge hurry for it, but if they're going to delay it, they should at least contact folks. I'll wait a bit and then cancel.

 

Might wanna cancel sooner rather than later before the card company denies your credit. You won’t hear from them lol.

Oh look another bad review… might want to get that chargeback going asap. These people are crooks.

 

Just to be safe, I used Affirm on my purchase. Looks like that was a good call as they just upheld my dispute and refunded me everything and closed the order.

I won’t be going back to AJC ever again.

 

Be sure to leave them a review of your experience to allow others to be warned of their scams. It’s sad how they run their company.

What they don't tell you is that they do not have any items on hand and don't actually order those items or pay to have them made until they have accumulated enough orders for them to become profitable in the overall resale process.

They also spend all of the money on fancy dinners, post more videos on Instagram about BBQing at home rather than working, and spend money on their rent and never purchase the products for the customer. They suck. Everyone that has had a bad experience needs to review them on google so more people do not get scammed!! 1 star!!

 

Should change the name of the thread to Aiden James customs scammers based on all the negative feedback from forum members.

 

But yet somehow they are still in business years later.

And a lot of legit ones had to shut down.

 

Ridiculous actually. Many people fighting to get their money back… I’m not sure how they haven’t gotten sued, but it has to happen eventually.

Reached out to the company in April 2024, Finally ordered and paid for 5k worth of parts on July 2nd.
Its now October, haven't heard a word from them since.... tried email, phone, and voicemail... Nothing?
I don't understand how they can be in business. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, because they will waste yours.

After I tell them by voicemail and email I wanted to move shops and continue my build elsewhere I was contacted by AJC October 3rd finally. I was informed parts have been back ordered blaming other companies. I reached out to the other company and they have no such order placed with AJC. As you can imagine I am quite frustrated.
This is fraud stay away, Lies, excuses, I really hope this ends well for me and I get what I paid for

 

Wow!! What shop are you going to take it to? They used to work with a really good shop but they moved and are on their own now and are much better off. I would just chargeback them and buy the parts from another shop that actually responds.

 

That’s a felony amount. They are stealing from customers…

Fortunately, my stuff is showing up this week. I was going to cancel the order when. I got the shipping notification.

 

Good choice they are a great shop! Stand up dudes. They are super busy though.

After my last order, I believe it. I don't know why I ordered from them again. Probably made sense to me when I did it, but not now!

Its crazy I spoke to Dirt Kings today and they have no order on file. I will be speaking to Dobinson on Monday and assume I will get the same response
