I've been running them since October of 2022, roughly 17k miles. Came from Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S. So far they've been a great tire for my use cases. They're very quiet and have done well in the wet and snow. So far they're wearing as I'd expect. They've done great on the light trails I've hit.

I'd like it if they looked a little more aggressive, but that's generally hard to find in this class of tire. As always whether or not they're right for you depends on how you intend to use them.

i am.. just had a set put on ordered through costco. it has only been a couple of weeks. so far so good. real test will be when we start getting rain out here in the bay area & when we go to reno/tahoe for the snow.. this past week the bay area has been triple digits.. should be cooling off going into the next week..

i do like the thread and aggressive look on the tire..

120k miles on the Michelin LTX A/T2
This set is over 8 years old, and now Costco won’t rotate them due to liability from the age lol.
This is on my 1st gen Tacoma back when they were $220 in 2016, they’re around $280 a tire now..

wont hesitate one bit to get these on my 4runner when the time comes.

    don't sleep on this tire!

I ran the previous generation of BFG Trail Terrains on a Nissan truck. I loved them. They were a fantastic road and trail tire in both dry and wet conditions. They last forever too (about 80k if I remember correctly). I was bummed when they discontinued them but moved on to the Michelin LTX M/S which is also a fantastic tire I would place in the same category.

I wouldn't hesitate to try these new Trail Terrains if I was to run a trail tire on my 4Runner.

100% have the receipt to show the tires and mileage at time of purchase from Costco somewhere in my glovebox
all 4 have super even wear too, which is a major role here
    Truck drives straight

well, i might just ditch my shitty falkens that only get 55-57k per set and get these.

how are they in rain, light trails and 10”+ of snow? Quiet on hwy?

I researched for months back in 2016 before pulling the trigger on these, skipped over the ko2 and wild peak at2 at the time.
Major factor was the vertical grooves in tread pattern design for wet driving, where most other AT tires lack. Also Michelin typically uses premium materials over other brands, at least this is my understanding, but you pay for it in the high cost of the tire.
    10/10 in rain
    10/10 light trail
    7/10 deep snow
I opted for the P rated load rating over the E load. Mainly because E I believed was too heavy, and would ride stiff, I also had a roommate at the time who tested both a P tire and a E tire on the front and the E rated tire wore substantially faster than the P rated tire. I don’t have a good explanation to why this is, but if you look into warranty information it’s usually higher mileage on P tires. Also P tire in this Michelin had a higher load index than the C rated tire lol (which I think is why C rated tires are difficult to find)
They drive lovely on the road, they call it an AT tire but it’s more of an aggressive-ish trial tire imo. And I love it

I saw the Michelin LTX Trail on a new 2024 LC . Right now they’re only available in 18” .

I put a bit over 100k on a set of Firestone Transforce on a work truck before it was replaced. The tires still looked pretty good.

@packetcollision nailed it - they've been great thus far. Handling snow/rain without issue and wearing well. No complaints at all.

    I believe it.

My Firestone Destination A/T's were a fantastic tire and went 80k. It's not an aggressive A/T tire but they always did the job.
