Curious how many miles? Since new? Have you owned it since new? Were these the 1st plug changes? if so is Toyota still doing 1 bank NGK ,the other Denso? I was surprised when I learned that on my 2008 FJ. After that R&R @ recommended mileage ( looked brand new, no wear) I didn't change the 2012 FJ's, traded @ 78k, 2015 Tacoma Ext Cab @ 82k & last 4Runner @ 68k all on original plugs.Always ran fine & MPG stayed basically the same. Again just curiosity only.

No bought used back in July as an early bday present when I traded in my 2015 Tacoma prerunner, this is me getting the services to ground zero a bit at a time so I know where and when everything has been done. On the upside my mechanic said it had been very well taken care of prior to my ownership. But I can already tell the difference across the board, especially the brakes.

Yes. I switched to Walmart 7 or 8 years ago and get that platinum level battery. I've yet to have a bad one amongst 5 various vehicles.

I used to do Sears Diehard with the thinking that if you ever do have a problem, there was is always a Sears around. But not so much anymore. Walmart has become more ubiquitous than Sears. I like Costco, but they are not in every little town everywhere.

    Oooh look, another mod.....
In addition to it making the cabin cooler, is it also quieter? It would have been great to do a before/after sound test. I'm sure it's not SUPER quiet, but I bet it's better than before.

How long did it take you to take off all the interior panels?

Not as quiet as I had hoped, outside noises are a bit more muffled while parked and driving noise is a bit quieter. I haven't done much driving since the install so time will tell.

If I were to do it again I would want to install hushmat then the insulation. Hushmat would have added a lot of time & cost though.

The paneling is pretty simple to pull it is made to come apart and go back together you just have to know what order to take the panels off in. The hardest part was getting the headliner out and back in without creasing it, going that deep and taking the headliner out isn't for the faint of heart.

No new rattles so far, I have pulled the rear paneling a number of times and never had rattles but now with the added fluff behind them I doubt it will be an issue.

The rear/ side paneling is pretty easy stuff, keep in mind the rear seats, seat belts, and trunk carpet were already removed which probably speeds things up and I was using an electric impact to zip all of the bolts/ screws out.

Hard to give an exact time, maybe 1-1.5 hours to get the paneling & headliner out.

For me puting the b pillars back was the "hardest". No really difficult per se but I initially installed them incorrectly not realizing the seatbelt needed to be lined up correctly before going on. Then each time taking them off to re-align the yellow clips would fall off and into the frame, lost forever. Good thing I had bought a bag on Amazon.

Made sure to have a couple helpers for the headliner so as to avoid folding.

    No rattles either.

I am not a wrencher, I do stupid stuff like this a lot. Drain pan plug is plastic, so it got lifted up by oil and sucked into the drain, plugging it up again. I walked away for a couple minutes....

Pedal commander showed up in the mail, so I installed it this afternoon and took it for a test drive. Very happy with the throttle response.IMG_0813.jpg

    Oooh look, another mod.....

I especially love the ghetto-chicken wire string you have holding your FRONT PLATE on. That's awesome man.
