Getting all kinds of contradicting information when I search for lug nuts which are needed for the black TRD 17” wheels I just acquired. My 4Runner didn’t come with OEM wheels so I don’t know what the OEM lug nuts look like but from my findings it appears their supposed to be the ones that are flat with like a washer on them?

What I’m finding online is part #PT076-60200-02. I want the black ones.

When I called my local dealer he tells me this is for quantity of x1 at $7.. and I need 24..

    So looking through the interwebs i find the Amazons ones M12x1.5 pitch but there is shorter and longer variants. Can someone tell me;

    1) Are the OEMs that much better quality?
    2) Should they be the longer or shorter style 1.5” vs ~ 1.8”?
    3) Amazon ones appear the washer on the lugs is not loose. What’s the importance of this washer and is supposed to be ‘loose’ free spinning on the lug nut?

Really appreciate any help and input!

By TRD you mean the pro rims right? People also call the OR set TRD OR. If I'm not mistaken the SR5 and OR rims required longer nuts because of the stud length. So it wouldn't be a problem with

Believe these also work with everything.

Why can you only buy 20 black but 24 chrome no idea.

All the lug nuts for all stock wheels will be the same regardless of wheel. Just need to make sure you source flat lugs and not coned.

As for why 20 and not 24, they assume you are pairing them with a set of locking lugs.

    Yup this ^
But those look like the gunmetal grey ones. Are there two different colors. If so what's the part number for the original black. Maybe it's just the camera playing tricks on me

They’re black. It does look gun metal in the pic. I wasn’t in direct sunlight and my wheels aren’t the cleanest.

How good does that black finish hold up after a few tire rotations ?

Time will tell. I will say they’re solid and not painted. That’s after one rotation and they came through without a scratch. I kept the silver ones just in case I want to switch it back up.

Is the finish on the OEM Toyotas better than the Amazon ones? My local dealer wants $40/6pack of these.. mind you that’s Canadian so a bit less USD but still not quite $12 like that page lol..

Ok, so the flat style are the ones to get. Now is the washer loose on the OEM lugs or is it solid to the lug? Curious what the importance of this is.

And again, the Toyota looks like it’s shorter than what the previous guy posted on Amazon, those studs are longer lol..

Other Toyota/Lexus models use the same lugnuts five per wheel so there's typically SKUs for both.

So looking at the part number from above the below reviews come up along.. are these infact Dave correct? They do look a bit short.
